We've had a record-breaking month in sales in our office here in Toronto. Personally, I had $5 million in sales in the month of May, and I had $3.8 million in sales in April. This is a record-breaking first half of the year for us. There are two reasons I can identify as to why this is happening. One of these reasons is that the market is moving very quickly. The average days on market is only 17 days right now!
Our team moves very fast with transactions, but so does the market. This combination means that our team is selling homes very, very quickly. We're also getting more feet on the ground and we're calling more prospects. We're not relying on the Internet to do the work for us; we're getting out there and making contact with potential buyers and sellers. Today is a very exciting day! We are leaving our office to head out with a group of over 20 investors to show them some great properties in the Toronto area. These people are looking for properties to flip, properties to buy, and hold, and properties that haven't been selling. Our investors are looking to profit off these homes, so we are taking them around to a lot of distressed properties in the area. Most of the time, these homes have a great location, but the condition is sub-par. That's when these investors come in, get the house fixed up, and either resell it or rent it out.
We took all of these buyers for a great tour around the city and showed them a ton of great properties. We even outfitted our bus with Wi-Fi and a printing station in order for our investors to make offers right at the door. If you know of any properties that are struggling to sell, let us know.
